Harry Potter fantasy store Whimsic Alley in Santa Monica is hosting a series of video interviews with kids ages 8-14 who love the Harry Potter series.

This Sunday, May 18th, Expanded Books will be at Whimsic Alley filming these interviews on behalf of the publisher. They are looking for kids ages 8-14, who have read some or all of the Harry Potter book series, not just seen the movies, to tell other kids their age why they love the books and why other kids should read the series.

The producers are looking for kids who are not actors, but are genuine lovers of the books, who look and speak naturally - a culturally and racially diverse group of kids.

Interested kids, and their parents (who will be asked to sign a release form), are encouraged to come to Whimsic Alley on Sunday, May 18th anytime between 11:00am and 5:00pm. No appointments are necessary. Whimsic Alley is located at 2717 1/2 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, CA.

Interviewees will receive gifts from the publisher and Whimsic Alley for their participation.

The producer has provided sample questions for the kids to review ahead of time, so that they can better articulate their answers when they are on camera.
