Harry Potter fan film featured in Movie Magic magazine
Harry Potter fan films are surprisingly very rare, especially dramatic films. However the two most popular Harry Potter fan films have been featured in the tenth anniversary edition of Movie Magic Magazine. The executive editor of Movie Magic interviewed director Erin Pyne after watching her film trailer online and the article has caught the attention of fans nation wide. The two films will be shown first at the Phoenix Rising Symposium in New Orleans, then again at the Prophecy Symposium in Toronto.

Sirius Black and the Secret Keeper, directed by Tim Balko, is a dramatic interpretation of the duel between Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew after the Potters have been murdered. The film was shown at the Witching Hour Symposium in Salem, Massachusetts to hundreds of avid Potter fans. A year later, Erin Pyne, associate producer of "Secret Keeper" decided to make her own film for the 2007 symposiums.
The Marauders' Worst Memory is the newest film directed by Erin Pyne. The film takes place in Hogwarts' past, when James Potter and his friends, the Marauders, were students. Sirius Black tricks Severus Snape into following Remus Lupin into the Whomping Willow on the night of a full moon. When James discovers the prank he sets off to stop the half-blood prince from encountering a full-blooded werewolf!
The movie was filmed over two weekends with a cast from the Orlando Harry Potter Club and West Orange High. A.J. Tongue, who played Remus Lupin, sat in makeup for seven hours to transform into the werewolf! After the symposiums the film will be available online to all Potter fan film fanatics.
