On her official web site yesterday, J.K. Rowling, while talking about her recent experience appearing live in New York with Stephen King and John Irving, has admitted she made a mistake when she was asked, what question have you never been asked that you ought to have been asked? She said the question should have been: "Why did Dumbledore have James' invisibility cloak at the time of James' death, given that Dumbledore could make himself invisible without a cloak? There IS a significant - even crucial - answer."

Luckily for Harry Potter fans, there is now a new website which has been created just to help answer such questions.

The site is called Beyond Hogwarts, and the site's creator, Dave Haber, says its purpose to provide a place where Harry Potter fans can go to discuss and debate interesting Harry Potter topics.

Mr. Haber, who also created the DumbledoreIsNotDead.com website, said, "I created Dumbledore Is Not Dead to help fans through the shock of reading the bad news in the last Harry Potter book. This year, I began to realize that as we get closer to the actual end of the Harry Potter books, there will be an even greater need for a place for Harry Potter fans to discuss the lead-up to and then the ramifications of the end of the story. That's why it's called Beyond Hogwarts, as it's meant to be a place where fans can continue discussing and debating all things Potter even after all the fans have read the final book. It's sort of like a never-ending, online Harry Potter fan conference."

"But until we get that final book," Mr. Haber says, "there are still lots of things to talk about, including questions like the one J.K. herself has just posed on her own site."

The Beyond Hogwarts website also covers other topics that are generally about the Harry Potter world, topics that Harry Potter fans will still be debating for many years after the last book is released. For example, how magical wands work and the magical science of Arithmancy. Also, the site has articles inspired by details from the Harry Potter movies.

In addition, Beyond Hogwarts is now the home of the Dumbledore Is Not Dead articles, and fans are welcome to join in on the discussion of those controversial topics as well.

As for J.K.'s new unasked question, Mr. Haber thinks that horcruxes might be involved.

"But that's only my thinking," Mr. Haber says. "Come join your fellow Harry Potter fans at Beyond Hogwarts and let us know what you think!"
