Quidditch fan spotted at World Cup
Wizard News Exclusive
by Dave Haber, Wizard News Editor
Spotted in the stands today at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany was this French fan who was clearly hoping for a little Harry Potter-type magic in their game this morning against Switzerland.

France's most famous player, Thierry Henry, who also plays for the English Arsenal Football Club, doesn't use a wand or magical spells, he does his magic on the soccer field. He's all-time leading scorer with over 200 goals, and he's the only player ever to have won three FWA Footballer of the Year awards, in 2003, 2004 and 2006.
But Henry's magic wasn't strong enough, or perhaps there were also dark forces from Switzerland in the crowd, as France and Switzerland played to a goalless draw in the first week of round one play at the World Cup game today in Stuttgart.
