After it had previously been officially denied that Daniel Radcliffe will not be attending the Queen's Royal birthday celebration on June 17, the BBC announced yesterday that all three young Harry Potter stars, Dan, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, would indeed be performing at the party, in a kids' play to mark the Queen's 80th birthday, called The Queen's Handbag.

Harry Potter fan web sites have confirmed today what we suspected yesterday, that the performance of this play would be prerecorded, and that it is still confirmed that Daniel Radcliffe will not appear live at the event. According to reports, Dan will be out of the country on a "well-earned holiday".

However, it was also confirmed today that J.K. Rowling will be at the event, and she will be reading from the Harry Potter books, and it is also possible some other Harry Potter celebrities might also attend, including Weasley mom Julie Walters.
