BENEFITING C.A.N. (CURE AUTISM NOW)
Save the date and buy your tickets now for the Charity Benefit Screening of all three of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings Movies! San Francisco will be the host city for this very special event at the Presidio Theatre (2340 Chestnut Street, San Francisco).
The special screening will take place Thursday, August 18th from 11am - 12midnite. There will be raffles, door prizes and a costume contest with all proceeds going to C.A.N.
C.A.N. (Cure Autism Now) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for autism. Autism is a neurological disorder that now effects 1 out of 166 children in California. For more information about C.A.N. please visit www.cureautismnow.org.
The Academy Award winning movies, "The Fellowship of the Ring," "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" will be run back to back with an intermission between each movie and a break halfway through each movie. The movies are based on the writings of J. R. R. Tolkien. The trilogy follows the travels of nine extraordinary friends (4 hobbits, a dwarf, an elf, a wizard and two men) on their mission to save Middle Earth.
Tickets can be purchased ONLY from the official website for this event, www.sftrilogy.org. Tickets are $50 for general seating and there are a limited number of VIP tickets for $100 that will include VIP seating, VIP only raffles (prizes donated by WETA) and an exclusive event T-shirt.
