Potter editor gives brief Half-Blood Prince info
by Dave Haber, Wizard News Wizard
Arthur A. Levine, Vice President of Scholastic and editor of the Harry Potter books, appeared this morning on the Today show on NBC TV in the US in conjunction with the release of the covers of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
He was interviewed about the Half-Blood Prince by Al Roker, who finally got around to asking Mr. Levine, "I know you can't give anything away, but, give me something. What are we going to find out here?"
Mr. Levine replied, "There's going to be a new Minister of Magic, I can tell you that." He also said, "You're going to find out a lot more about Voldemort."
Al Roker asked him, "What about the tone of this book? How does it differ from the others?"
Mr. Levine replied, "It's very intense, but there's also a lot of lighter moments. There's a lot of heart in this book."
Al tried to trick him into answering, "Does anybody die?" but Mr. Levine simply replied, "I can't say."
