Goblet of Fire Casting Director Passes Away

Mary Selway, widely recognized as Britain’s top casting director, died Wednesday at London’s Harley Street Clinic following a long battle with cancer. She was 68.

Mary had last worked as casting director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which has just recently started filming. Previously she was also casting director for Master and Commander, which featured Lord of the Rings star Billy Boyd, Love Actually, which featured Emma Thompson who also stars in the upcoming Prisoner of Azkaban, and Gosford Park, who’s stars included Michael Gambon, Dame Maggie Smith and Stephen Fry.
