Camp at Penn State mixes learning with Harry Potter magic
Wizards and Cauldrons camp at Penn State Worthington Scranton campus is an interdisciplinary camp that incorporates math, science, physical education and more with elements of the Harry Potter book series. During the camp, children conduct basic science experiments and play quidditch and chess.

Video: Second Deathly Hallows trailer now online
Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which will be released in theaters nationwide on November 19 and will be followed by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II on July 15, 2011. This trailer was released with the new LEGO Harry Potter video game and features new footage from the film.

Official Deathly Hallows teaser poster is released
The official Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows one sheet has now been made available by Warner Bros. "It all ends here," the familiar Lumos script reads, above an image of Hogwarts like you've never seen it before. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be in theaters on November 19, 2010.

Julie Walters found herself close to tears during her final days of filming Harry Potter, realizing that she had watched the young actors grow from children to adulthood. Walters, who plays Molly Weasley in the series, said, "It was sad. They were all little tots when we started and now they are great big blokes and girls."

When MTV News caught up with celebrated villain and MTV Movie Award winner Tom Felton, they asked him about the movie's big final scene. "I had a monologue prepared, but time was short," he joked. Felton convinced his real-life girlfriend, Potter stunt assistant Jade Olivia, to appear with him in the final shot. "She was at first reluctant," he said.

Warwick Davis has played Professor Flitwick since 2001's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and told MTV what the final day of shooting was like. Video: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer debuts
I'm finding it difficult to type, because I've just watched the first full trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and my entire body is currently riddled with goosebumples. I daresay this trailer lives up to Warner Bros.'s descriptions of the films being a "worldwide phenomenon" and this two-part finale being "the motion picture event of a generation."

Author J.K. Rowling packs her Harry Potter novels full of secrets. The new theme park that brings the boy wizard's magical world to life is similarly loaded with hidden gems. Crafty designers have filled the park with little details designed to reward observant fans. Some are almost impossible to miss, but others require a keener eye to spot.

Daniel Radcliffe stunned his Harry Potter co-stars during a recent karaoke party. Dan has been taking vocal lessons since signing up for a Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying that will hit the New York stage next year. He said, "Ive been having singing lessons for two-and-a-half years. I'm not amazing, obviously, but I'm all right."

BBC 1's Harry Potter broke BBC rules
A Harry Potter themed day on Radio 1 broke the BBC's own guidelines after it gave blanket coverage to the film on the day of its release. The BBC Trust ruled yesterday that the coverage broke rules on 'product prominence' after critics accused the broadcaster of acting like a publicity machine for the Half Blood Prince film with its on air marathon.

Percy Jackson author to write more Olympian books
The publisher Disney Hyperion said on Monday that it would release The Lost Hero, a new work by Rick Riordan, the author of the hit Percy Jackson & the Olympians adventure series. "I knew already that there was more to the story that I wouldn't be able to fit into the arc," Mr. Riordan said. The Lost Hero will go on sale Oct. 12.

Daniel Radcliffe to star in WWI movie remake
Daniel Radcliffe has lined up his first major film role after Harry Potter, as the lead in a Hollywood remake of classic war movie All Quiet On The Western Front. Dan will play a young German soldier, Paul Baumer, fighting in the trenches in France in the First World War, in an update of the 1930 Oscar-winner.

Genealogists believe Twilight star Robert Pattinson is related to the notorious 15th-century ruler Vlad the Impaler, widely considered to be the inspiration for the title character in author Bram Stoker's classic tale of darkness, Dracula. Researchers discovered that the English actor and the world's most famous vampire are related through, of all people, the British Royal Family.

Merlin to add some Potter magic next season
In a recent interview, Merlin star Colin Morgan gave away a few details about the upcoming third season, which Harry Potter fans may find interesting. Miriam Margolyes, who features as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films, and Warwick Davis, Professor Flitwick, will both appear on the show next season. Merlin can be seen on the SyFy channel.

Fans will get their first glimpse of the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, which will be told in two full-length parts. The trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on June 28, according to Warner Bros. Pictures. Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be released worldwide beginning November.

New casting news for final Harry Potter film
Thanks to Harry Potter fan site Snitchseeker, we now know the name of the young actor who was chosen to portray an interesting role in an important scene in the final installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Potter fans seem to think he does look very much the part. Deathly Hallows Part II will be in theaters one year from now, July 15, 2011.

Peter Jackson might direct The Hobbit after all
Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, is in negotiations to officially take over directing duties on the long-delayed, two-part adaptation of The Hobbit. Jackson is reportedly now hammering out his deal, according to Deadline.com, before meeting with potential cast members in London and Los Angeles during the first two weeks of July.

Jason Isaacs says Dan Radcliffe helped convinced director Chris Columbus to approve Jason's ideas for Lucius Malfoy. He told Columbus, "I want to look like a wizard... can I have a cane or walking stick, I can get the wand out of it, and they said, We can't do that, wands come out of people's sleeves. Daniel, who was standing there, said, I think it'd be really cool!"

Fans excited once finally inside Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Hardcore theme park and Harry Potter fans made it into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter after many hours of long lines through Islands of Adventure and CityWalk. The long lines continued the day after. It may be a while before it's an easy walk into Hogsmeade. The park opened at 9 am, fans began arriving at 5:30.

Emma Watson hosted a dinner at her British home to mark the final week of shooting last Harry Potter movies, but guests are remaining tight-lipped on the secrets they revealed as they reminisced. James Phelps said, "We spoke about the best moments of filming, our secret crushes on set. But all the answers to these questions will stay in that room!"

Tom Felton wanted co-stars to get Harry Potter tattoo
Tom Felton has revealed he tried to get the Harry Potter cast to have the boy wizard's lightning bolt tattooed on their bottoms, so that he and his fellow actors could have a lasting memento of their time on set. He said, "I did try and talk them into it. I thought it was a nice idea. We talked about it but all wimped out."

Rupert Grint film Wild Target opens today in the UK
Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Martin Freeman star in new comedy Wild Target, a British remake of a French farce about an assassin who falls for his latest hit, and tries to protect her instead. Nighy has worked with Grint before, playing Rufus Scrimgeour in the final Harry Potter film. Wild Target opens today in the UK and in North America on October 8.

Crowds, stars at Harry Potter park opening in Orlando
Daniel Radcliffe and other stars from the Harry Potter movies greeted visitors Friday at the official grand opening of Universal Orlando's new minipark, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That's A Wrap! Harry Potter filming ended today
According to the Twitter account of Warwick Davis, who played both Flitwick and Griphook in the films, the final day of principle photography for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows took place today, Saturday, June 12th. Davis tweeted, "The end of an Era. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time."
