When Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I premieres this November, audiences will get all juiced up with no pay-off when the film breaks for Part II, set to be released eight months later in July, 2011. Matthew Lewis, Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, was on hand earlier this week to announce that Seattle would be the final stop in the traveling tour known as Harry Potter: The Exhibition. The exhibit is currently in Toronto, and will makes its way back to the States to reside at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle from October 23 until January 30, 2011.

Durham University in England is to run a Harry Potter course. The university will offer a second-year undergraduate module entitled Harry Potter and the Age of Illusion from the next academic year. The course's professor says study of the social and moral issues raised in the children's book series has great relevance to today's society.

| Japanese audiences to get exclusive Deathly Hallows preview |
It is being reported that on August 11, fans at several movie theaters across Japan will be able to see an exclusive preview to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The preview will be shown as part of a marathon event, in which all six Harry Potter movies will be shown. No word yet on whether a similar event will take place in the States.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly in talks to star in comedy horror movie Jay and Seth vs the Apocalypse. Knocked Up star Seth Rogen and The Sorcerer's Apprentice actor Jay Baruchel are remaking the short they made in film school for the big screen, and Radcliffe is said to have asked to audition for the lead role.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is throwing a party for the films' stars to celebrate the end of the movie franchise. Rowling, along with Warner Brothers, are putting the party together for the cast and crew of the popular series, which finally finished filming. The bash will be held at Leavesden Studios, where each of the eight movies have been filmed.

| Rare J.K. Rowling work to auction for $40,000 |
A rare, unpublished work by Harry Potter author JK Rowling is being offered for sale for £25,000. The item is a hand-drawn, personal horoscope which Rowling gave to a friend at the time she was writing the first Potter book. It comprises 12 loose pages in a plastic folder and is being sold by memorabilia specialists Paul Fraser Collectibles.

It's hard to believe but boy wizard Harry Potter would be turning 30 if he was real. According to the books, the Hogwarts pupil was born on 31 July 1980. Scholastic says the recent plagiarism lawsuit filed against it by the estate of late English author Adrian Jacobs is completely without merit. The suit alleges that the Harry Potter series is "substantially similar" to Jacobs's The Adventures of Willy the Wizard: Livid Land. J.K. Rowling said, "The claims that are made are not only unfounded but absurd."

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has reportedly lost $165 million, despite its popularity at the box office. The 2007 wizard movie is the ninth highest grossing film of all time in the global chart, taking $929 million. But a net profit statement leaked online suggests Warner Brothers still needs to recoup $165 million of the film's budget.
