Who is R.A.B. and where is Slytherin's Locket?

by David Haber

In the dramatic climax of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore and Harry recover a locket from Voldemort's secret cave. Only after Dumbledore "dies" does Harry open the locket and find the note from R.A.B. But who is R.A.B., and where is the locket now?

I've been thinking that Book 7 probably feature a scene in Azkaban, given that it is the only big wizarding place that we have heard about a lot but not yet 'visited'.
When he comes of age, Harry might very likely visit Mundungus there to try to find out what has happened to the stuff he nicked from No.12, eg. heavy locket as probable horcrux.

I agree so far with most of these commets, but has anyone considered the thought that the D.A. [Dumbledores Army] rejoin with each other and once they're of age they might join the Order to help fight since half of them has
already experienced what its like to fight off the eaters? Some of the D.A. has faced the eaters more then once.

I've been thinking, didn't Harry save Wormtail's [Peter Pettigrew] life in POA? Doesn't that mean Wormtail owes Harry for saving his life?

Regulus, Sirius, and Bellatrix are all famous stars. Lillys, petunias, and nymphadorae's are all stars. Luna is another name for the moon. Also, Draco is a famous constellation that is supposed to be a dragon. I think that most of these names are regular objects that people overlook.

I do think Dumbledore d but since he was a headmaster, he is a potrait on the wall. Know Harry can get information on were Dumbledore thinks the hurcruxes are and who Dumbledore thinks might have some of them.

Did you mean to say Lilys and Petunias are flowers?

Umbria was an ancient grouping of City-States called the
Etruria or Tyrrhenia to the Greek. One such City-State was
Luna.

Luna is a location in Cluj County, Romania. You know where
a certain Weasley is busily tending dragons. (Maybe we could get him to send some Draggie poop for Hagrid's pumpkin patch.) Cluj County is smack dab in the middle of
Transylvania and if I remember correctly, Perfesor Quirrel
was on walkabout in this neck of the woods when he got that
really bad LV tattoo on the back of his head. There was also a member of the MOM who had herself mindwiped there
during the era before the Goblet of Fire tourney. LV got his intelligence from her.

Doing a little mental math myself, could Peter Petigrew have been handed down to Percy before Charlie became Head Boy and was upgraded?

Firstly I do agree that Kreacher assisted Regulus across the lake and was told to drink the potion(hence his madness) harry obeyed out of love but kreacher had too. harry should know dumbledores brother from the picture in grim-old place(hee). also JK said the sorting hat has NEVER been wrong! Regulas was a Slytherin. Voldemort cannot have ed regulus because of the horcrux or it wouldn't still be in the cave waiting for him. If Dumbledore hid regulus he would have known about the cave already!

But guys, didnt R.A.B. write in his short note that he was going do destroy de malacrux, so that the man who wanted to Lord Voldemort really could do it?:)

Lily and Petunia are flowers. And Narcissa is a flower too. Not the name of a star such as Bellatrix, Andromeda, Regulus and Sirius. What do you think about that? Could they be relatives? Probably not, because Narcissa is from a wizard family and Lily and Petunia not.

The "heavy locket" that they found at #12 cannot be Slytherin's locket. Dumbledore is rarely wrong, and he thinks, or rather, knows, that the locket is a horcrux. Therefore, he would have known where it is and have destroyed it immediately. If he could find the ring in the Shack in Little Hangleton, he can definately find a bit of dark magic literally under his nose. In addition, if Dumbledore could not find that much dark magic in front of his face, then maybe there is NO dark magic in it at all. You might say that in one of these sites, it says that horcruxes are not necessarily bad, but Voldemort's soul? It has to be the most evil thing the world has seen. Going back to what I was saying, even if it is Slytherin's locket, and RAB is Regulus, why would he keep it without destroying it? "I intend to destroy this as soon as I can." RAB logically would not hang on to it and run the risk of not destroying it. Going back to the locket in #12, there is no mention of the ornate, serpentine letter "S" on it. that is a major aspect of the locket, and if Sirius, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Mrs. Weasley, and the hordes of other people who saw it didn't notice an "S", maybe there isn't one. Maybe it isn't really Slytherin's locket.

I don't think Morty's soul itself is evil, it's what he did to it that corupted it.
That explains why his physical appearence changed and got more distorted as he continued to mutilate his soul.
