Harry Potter actors Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley, and Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, spoke recently at the Leeds Film Festival about the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which will be released on November 10, to be followed by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II on July 15, 2011.
 > Read the full article (Contains Spoilers)Reader Comments: Great lengthy interviews! Great questions and focussed, detailed answers. I am a bit concerned about Chris Rankin's comment about the changes they (again) made to the storyline... I really hope they do work in the frame of the film... but I am greatly encouraged my Matt Lewis stating that there is a lot of David Thewlis and Alan Rickman in the film... FINALLY they seem to be getting the screen time they deserve. Nice one about Rickman giving Lewis some advice too, it seems he did that without being bossy or intimidating. Matthew Lewis is great as Neville and I am looking forward to his scene when he is battling the snake. Funny about that comment about Luna and Neville made by Rankin... when reading the books, I had somehow thought they would end up together too, but obviously being friends is just as good, if not even better. Thanks again for posting these excellent interviews and again I wished I'd been there... Posted by Siena from Nottingham, UK on April 20, 2010 08:08 AM
