Severus Snape v. The Ministry of Magic
 by J.K. Rich
After reading Book Six in the Harry Potter saga, millions of Harry Potter fans were devastated to learn that after it allafter all the warnings and signsSeverus Snape is, in fact, evil. And, even more devastatinghe had killed Professor Dumbledore right in front of The Boy That Lived. Or did he?

If Dumbledore really was about to be ed (that is, if it were not by his knowledge) then Fawkes would have tried to save him. Unless Dumbledore ordered him not to. I think his was planned. And that Snape ed Dumbledore on Dumbledores orders or that he allowed the poison or the fall actually Dumbledore. I also think that Dumbledore was stalling Draco so that he would be from the poison by the time the other Eaters arrived, so it would look as though Draco really did do his part. But when Draco didn't succeed and the other Eaters realized he wasn't going to do it, Dumbledore moved to Plan B which was to have Snape finish him off. Besides if it wasn't planned, how did Snape know which Tower Dumbledore was in? But for whatever reason, I think Dumbledore really is . But he may be able to help Harry in different ways. His after all, would make Voldemort even more confident and more likely to make a rash action/decision which would bring him out of hiding. Dumbledore did say that Toms arrogance and inability to love are his biggest weaknesses. So I wonder if Dumbledore is actually using his as a way to help Harry. (It motivate Harry and the others to find Voldemort, and also make Voldemort overconfident which make him easier to find. Infact Voldemort might actually come after Harry out in the open because Dumbledore is no longer around to fear). So maybe this is what Dumbledores plan really is. Hi Steve from england.
I think you are quite right about the clue! I even think that she has given this clue more than once in different ways. Also Love prove to be the power that overthrow Voldemort. (and no we have to wait and see who sacrifice him or herself in DH) Posted by Hettie Campfens from The Netherlands on July 17, 2007 04:19 AM
Ok. Here are a few ideas.
1. Rowling said that Dumbledore is , and not going to pull a Gandalf. Gandalf didn't ... read the books. 2. Fawkes didn't save Dumbledore. Why not? Probably ordered not to. 3. Snape's reason that he is NOT still a Eater and can be trusted goes back to what DD said about him in HBP... He was overcome with grief when he learned that Voldy ed the Potters. It's a good bet that he hates James partly because James and not Snape, got Lily. As much as he might dislike James, he probably loved Lily regardless. Maybe J.K. Rowling bring Dumbledore back without ever really explaining how, so that even after the book comes out people still be wondering about it. That sounds like something that would happen. Posted by oatmeal from chapel hill on July 17, 2007 3:13 PM
I know this has nothing really to do with this, but Harry and some others could have used some time-turners to go back in time and possibly save dumbledore if snape was indeed, evil. Posted by bob from lalaland on July 18, 2007 3:09 PM

But thats the whole deal with Snape. He is not evil in any way. He is sacrificing more than anyone else to make it a happy ending. He do anything he has to stop Vold. If he has to become evil to stop Vold at the end then thats what he do.
Besides i still strongly believe Snape is very strong in all perspective. He had to hate Dumbledore for the short moment when casting the ing curse for it to work. But he feeled quite opposite towards Dumbledore because only Dumbledore fully understood Snape. Dumbledore was the only person Snape could talk to without being judged.
Snape did what he had to do and as always he knew what he was doing. Snape is a good guy. Dumbledore knew Dreco is trying to him because Snape told him so. He also had to tell him he made an unbreakable vow so Dumbledore knew from the start he at the end of year or sooner. Thats why he had Harry telling him about the Volds past. So that when he is gone there be someone to carry on his work. Dumbledore knew Snape is more usefull to the Order as an old man who was so tired after the fight with Voldemort a year ago. I don't think that Dumbledor is . Neither that Snape is evil (anymore). At least ever since he found out that he himself is to blame for the of Lily Potter (who he loved... eventhough she had married James)... I think that is the point where he changed sides. And isn't LOVE just what is going to be the end of Voldemort? Snape is a complicated person... he might even love a part of Harry (Lily)... but he so much hates James for how he has been treated and for marrying the girl he loves... gandalf did , but since he was a maia he had the ability to come back (as gandalf the white) and he did. i'm quite sure rowling knows this, but i also think she is aware of that a lot of the harry potter-readers do not (just look at the article and the comments here).
anyway, i believe that snape is good in his own really weird way and that dumbledore truly is . but if harry could see his parents in dreams and mirrors and bubbles between wands i don't get why he wouldn't be able to see dumbledore there as well. i don't think dumbledore's part in this story is over. What if Dumbleddore had a horcrux. Like in the first book it is stated that he ed the Dark Lord Grindewald (the name is something like that). So maybe he created a horcrux and maybe that horcrux could something like the sorting hat. Also, you know Dumbledore's love for Phoenix's so maybe he can respawn himself like a Phoenix. These are just ideas but more than likely he is probally for good. Posted by Steve Matthews on July 20, 2007 10:18 AM
