New Revelations
 by David Haber
On August 2, 2006, at the second night of the Harry, Carrie, and Garp event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, J.K. Rowling says Dumbledore is . But is that the whole story? How does what J.K. has said relate to all of the clues and theories on this site?

If you say no it ruins the element of suprise and the excitement for the next book. If you say sorry I cant answer that people still think that he isnt , because if he was she should have no trouble saying it. It is written in her books, it is the only logical thing that she could say. If she came flat out and said no Dumbledore is not it would take out a major part of her next book. To the individual who posted a comment a long way back,
""To the person who said that Dumbledore had a horcrux, I dont think that is possible as you have to someone to split your soul in 2. AD is not as er!--- Posted by Clair from Wales on September 16, 2006 06:41 AM""
Dumbledore did, at least, someone. Pay attention to his chocolate frog card that was found by Harry in his very first visit to Hogwarts:
Albus Dumbledore, currently Headmaster of Hogwarts. Considered by many to be the greatest wizard of modern times, Professor Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragons blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flamel. Professor Dumbledore enjoys chamber music and tenpin bowling. Dumbledores Chocolate Frog Card, page 72, PS/SS.
Forgive me if i am repeating anyones' post previous to mine, but i do not want the idea to escape my thoughts.
J. K. Rowling as we all know is a talented schemer. But, forgive me, I do not think that she can be so good at what she does that she can make on the spot cryptic clues to an aunce of hundreds.
I don't believe that she researched whether or not Gandalf d. But i do believe that she put emphasis on saying something along the lines of "Dumbledore is ". "Dumbledore" Being under the title of all those who share his name. Something else, J. K. Rowling could not fake the emotions that she showed at the charity event. She is an author, not an actor.
I am in no way intentionally insulting J. K. Rowling.
I have contemplated the theory, and come to a conclusion that i regret more than anything.
Albus Dumbledore is .
I know full well that I am confronting the entire purpose of this site, so do not flame me, for I could not stand an insult from the people of a site I most sincerely love. Posted by Andrew from Perth, Australia on October 16, 2006 08:18 AM
I'm also very grateful for this site. i was in europe when the 6th book came out so i read the british version. of couse, i couldn't know that there were a few sentances in the american version that weren't in that one, so i'm grateful someone pointed it out. i might have been more suspicious from the start if those lines had been in there. Dumbledore's "', though painful, was not unexpected. since the moment he drank the potion around the horcrux, i was holding my breath for him to . something seemed wrong about the whole thing, but i didn't realy pay atention to it. and just a thouhgt: RAB. it's so obvious that it could stand for regulous black that maybe it stand for someone else. would JK Rowling do that if she knew how easy it would be for us to figure it out? i just don't know. Read the Order of the Phoenix again. During the times that the kids are cleaning out headquarters, they come across a locket that none of them can open. Imagine that! A locket in Regulus Blacks RAB parents house. Posted by Charles T. Woodring from Bluefield, WV on October 16, 2006 5:49 PM
JK said not to expect dumbledore to pull a gandoff. She didn't say anything about him not pulling an aslan. In narnia he doesn't win the battle for the children, but he does help. Sound a little familiar?
Just thought i would add that to the table. Posted by Kara from Prattville, Alabama on October 16, 2006 8:06 PM
Oh My Gosh...I've just reread the books again. I'm 100% Convinced that Dumbledore isn't . I love whoever made this site and I cannot wait until we find out. I love the point someone made about Dumbledore possibly being an animigus (pheonix). If James Potter and Sirius could do it, who are we to think AD can't. And the coffin burst into flames and Harry thought he saw a pheonix. It all fits. Is anyone aware if you can Die in your animigus form? I've never heard mention of it before. You know, i totally agree with you. I just went to music class and i noticed or i think someone gave a stray bit of paper in which your site was written. I kept it but only remembered it in the music class. Today i checked it out and it is really hard work you have done. Let me add a thing. There is also a possibility that harry knew something was going to happen as he left the lucky potion with his friends. I dont remember the exact lines but please do experiment on that possibility. thanks Posted by Ann on October 18, 2006 12:09 PM
And of course one more thing as mentioned above-The locket is in Sirius' house.Who took it?NO descendant of that family is living and the house is hidden from others. This surely proves that Sirius is not too. wow! you guys set me thinking. And Nearly headless nick didn't exactly say that Sirius couldn't come back. Well about the mirror...maybe Kreacher destroyed it or somethin like that. I have to experiment more. And Dumbledore knew that Sirius took it and The Sleeping Potion was what he drank. And again as I said, Harry may be knowing this as he must be helping Dumbledor. He even mentions that he may not attend seventh year at Hogwarts to Ginny. Well not as good as you am I? Posted by Ann on October 18, 2006 12:23 PM
think about this: Sirius's BROTHER could not be or didn't when everyone says he d. that could be who took the locket, because he figured out how to beat voldemort... Posted by Sydney from Canada on October 19, 2006 07:48 AM
Wait a second! Anyone knows hagrid's fullname?Rebeus..... Posted by Ann on October 19, 2006 3:12 PM
See look at it this way...not the last part but the first. I didnt read all the comments...forgive if i repeat anything.See i the second and sixth book Snape is not in the Great Hall but waiting for Harry. This does prove that Snape is protecting Harry but Tonks...I remember faintly that she did not possibly tell her purpose, did she? Maybe Polyjuice did the trick and Snape did not allow her in as he knew she was dark wizard? And the portrait...maybe it'll only wake up when the real person s?!? I love your theories! My heart was broken after having finished the Half-Blood Prince yesterday.
I do believe J.K. that Dumbledore is . But it is only a as we know. A physical passing. He is the greatest Wizard of all times! A simply ing curse sounds too hypocritical to me. It wouldn't be Dumbledore to let that happen and leave Harry alone on a mission, Dumbledore himself wouldn't want to give away.
He is a wizard and I am sure, he is NOT done teaching Harry! Why did he sleep in the picture? He could have as well stood there in all his splendor and smile at Harry!
Don't forget! Voldemort did not either! Is there something like a Horcrux for good wizards? Where you can keep parts of your soul without ing someone? Why didn't Dumbledore assume that the locket was empty? Or is it just a clue and really hasn't been taken at all?
The point is, Dumbledore has stepped from the world we know to a more magical one, where his powers probably become more evident and much stronger! He would not just leave like that without fighting! Posted by Marika from Pittstown, NJ on October 20, 2006 08:11 AM
