New Revelations
 by David Haber
On August 2, 2006, at the second night of the Harry, Carrie, and Garp event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, J.K. Rowling says Dumbledore is . But is that the whole story? How does what J.K. has said relate to all of the clues and theories on this site?

We know albus's brother is so maybe she means him to trick us! Posted by Elizabeth and Laura from Australia on September 28, 2006 5:26 PM
well first of all, I must applaude those who created this site! it's really good psychologically speaking. I'm another HP fan who read the last book in in one sitting -just 21 hour straight- my eyes popped out! I must tell you that I was really disappointed... not about AD or snape ing him, but about the way the book was written... What was extremely gripping about JKR books was the several and different stories that were built around and intertwined at the very end. I found this book -great because aI love HP- but very linear, without loops around that made your mind wonder around... Please, don't take me wrong! I still long for reading HP7, but I wanted to know if this happened to you too... Maybe AD got the worst of me Posted by Julie from Arg. on September 28, 2006 7:31 PM
this is definately good thinking! and we should aplaud the reasoning....BUT think ethically...it is like knowing the secret before we watch any thriller movie!...given that JK knows that such site is running...she might just change the plot in her mind, which i dont think be as logical and amusing as the plot on which she has been working from her first novel.....if at all senenth novel proves tobe disappointing,we might be amongst the causal factors Posted by jayesh from mumbai on September 29, 2006 04:05 AM
I believe, Jayesh, that J.K. Rowling has worked this all out in advance many years ago, and there's nothing we can say here that's going to make her change something in the last book because of us at this point.
That being said, we know she's reading (if not this web site specifically, these discussion web sites in general) because today she posted on her own website that one of the possibilities we've been discussing about the mystery of James' invisibility cloak is not true...
(That discussion can be found here.) Posted by Dave Haber from Los Angeles, CA on September 29, 2006 09:27 AM
Something that's very weird aswell: J.K. doesn't rule out this whole idea on her website where she had ruled out many other speculations already. So why rule out many speculations who aren't true, and not rule out this one, which is the biggest speculation (in my opinion)? Posted by Job from Tilburg, Netherlands on October 1, 2006 08:18 AM
ok..i love this website! Im really hoping Dumbledore is not ..one thing ive thought of...in the chapter spinners end, (if Snape really is good) Bellatrix is a threat to him. She doesnt trust his loyalty and seems to be the only one. When Narcissa asks Snape to make an unbreakable vow it says-"Snape's expression was blank, unreadable. Bellatrix, however, let out a cackle of triumphant laughter." Assuming the "task" they later speak of during the spell is ing Dumbledore, Snape had to him or he would've d..? Im alittle confused about all that, thats just something I keep thinking about.. oh and can we please talk about the possibility of Harry in book 7? Im freaking out I be really really upset if she s him too! Posted by Meagan Michael from Mississippi on October 2, 2006 5:05 PM
Las and Gentelmen dumbledore DID someone the dark wizard Grindelwal or something so he COULD have split his soul but im with JK dumbledore is and he wont come back ( please note that if in fact he does come back in the 7th book i change my mind completely OK?) To continue the point of Harry being a horcrux... it is possible that this could have happened without Voldemort's knowledge.James' invisibility cloak could have belonged to Godric Griffyndor himself. Dumbledore said that Voldemort was going to make a horcrux the night he ed the Potters. He was probably hoping to use the cloak as his horcrux, considering his "collection" of other treasures of the founders of Hogwarts. We need to note that James and Lily were ed before Voldemort turned to Harry. While his intention was to get rid of Harry after hearing part of the Prophesy, the ground was already fertile for some serious dark magic... Voldemort didnt expect the protection Lily had left Harry when she d. So when his curse bounced back, he d, but left a mark on Harry. Now think...
1. Harry's scar is a link between him and Voldemort
2. Dumbledore himself agrees that Voldemort transferred some of his powers into Harry that night.
3. What if it wasnt just powers that Voldemort transferred? What if it was a part of himself?
4. If it was just a few of his powers that were transferred, why did the sorting hat want to put Harry into Slytherin? It was only Harry's choice that changed that. He was a true Griffyndor as he pulled the sword out. But he had Slytherin in him as well.
5. How could Harry feel Voldemorts feelings with just a few powers? It needed to be more than that.
6. In The Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore saw a shadow of Voldemort rise at times behind Harry's eyes.... this had to be the actual person in him.
7. Harry could speak Parseltongue. This required a very powerful streak of Slytherin in him. Could this happen just with transferring powers?
Also, in Goblet of Fire, when Harry tells Dumbledore of his blood being used to bring back Voldemort, he sees a gleam of triumph in Dumbledore's eyes. Could it be that, in the spilling of Harry's blood to bring back Voldemort, he is no longer a horcrux that Voldemort can use, and hence would not need to be destroyed in order to permanently finish Voldemort? Is the fact that Voldemort put himself into Harry unwittingly, an indication of the "power he knows not" according to the Prophecy? I'm pretty sure the "power he knows not" is love.
Also, I don't recall hearing that a horcrux is destroyed when the soul taken back out.
Anyway, I just wanted to make another point: What if Voldemort succeeds and Harry s? Posted by Mike on October 5, 2006 3:16 PM
Im just wondering is sirius because he went behind the veil and disappeared. Is he coming back cause i liked him best. That might have been because i read book 3 first. Posted by Tommy from California, USA on October 5, 2006 9:03 PM

I agree with E.T. from Oklahoma on September 8, 2006 . There is something about Albus & Aberforth. I am entertaining the idea that Albus and Aberforth are one in the same person. They are never together, unless I missed something. In the photograph of the original Order of the Phoenix, Moody says it's the only time he ever met Aberforth. Moody names all the members, except Albus. Was Albus not in the photo? Why not, as he was the one who created the Order?
Why is Albus so distant with Aberforth? One of Albus' desires is socks which is a metaphor for family, so why isn't he closer to Aberforth? When did Aberforth get mentioned for the 1st time? Where does Albus go when not at Hogwarts? Why are the trips so long? Where and what was Albus doing before he taught at Hogwarts? Why is Albus' scar shaped the London Underground? Is it a secret way into Gringott's? Was Albus/Aberforth there to thwart Quirrel on his quest for the Stone?
Maybe Albus was a spy himself at one time and that is one of the reasons he trusts Snape?
So, if Albus is not , how do you get around JKR's statement that he is? Albus is as we knew him, but he is now Aberforth, free from playing a dual role. He has to lull the bads into a false sense of security, by ing his Albus side off, so that he is free to better help Harry & Co. by being Aberforth. He can now help in secrecy.
