J.K. Rowling to read at the White House


J.K. Rowling is to read excerpts from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at the White House Easter Egg Roll. Tickets were given to a number of families with children aged 12 and under. The event is to take place on Monday and is hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle, and will be streamed on the White House's official website.

It's so cool that J.K. is still recognized as someone as important enough to be reading at the White House! I wish I could be there to see her!

Anybody going? I wonder what chapter she's gonna read?

I'd just sooooo love to hear her read the scene in the hut on the rock! Or maybe Oliver Wood teaching Harry about quidditch!
