The only requirements: Please write one to three paragraphs max, and the last word of your entry must be "scar".

UPDATE: The Last Word is No Longer Scar!

Friday night (7/6/07) on the Jonathan Ross show on the BBC, J.K. was asked if "scar" still the last word in the book, as had been reported, and she said, "Scar? It was for ages, and now it's not. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word." So, please continue with our three paragraph fantasy endings, but you no longer have to make "scar" the last word if you don't want...

The morbid silence hung heavily on the Castle grounds, but this was soon to be broken by the thunderous rain that pelted down from the threatening clouds. A tear rolled down Hermione's cheek as she gazed through the frosted window at the flooded lake, and the beech tree where she once sat with her best friend.
Ron entered the common room and placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked into his eyes and lost control; she started shaking uncontrolably, tears cascading down her now red cheeks. She embraced Ron who, though he tried to hide the fact, was also crying. " Its just I never realised we'd be so alone.." said hermione. "Yeah, i miss him too." replied Ron
And so Harry Potter was finally put to rest, beside Dumbledore, the world's two gretest wizards adjacent each other. Standing beside him were his two best friends in the whole world, who had stood by him in everything. They watched grief striken as his coffin was closed. The last they ever saw of The boy who Lived was the fringe on his forehead, that even now concealed the thing that had started it all- his magical scar.

As Harry sat in his new room, in his new house, with a weeping Hermione leaning on his shoulder, Harry could not help himself. He had to leave her, on what should have been a happy day; the day Ron and Hermione had arranged for their marriage.

He went for a walk, thinking about the past year. How he had destroyed the Horcruxes. How he had lost Hagrid and Lupin. But most importantly how Ron had thrown himself in front of Voldemort's ing curse, the Avada Kedavra, to give Harry the time to send his own ing curse back at Voldemort.

And he remembered how he sat next to Ron for hours after his , in complete silence, tears streaming down his face. Hagrid, ed by Macnair, after being hit three times by the Avada Kedava before falling to it. Lupin, ed in a vicios werewolf battle with Greyback, who also d. And as he stood over Voldemort's limp body, he thought to himself how so much , destruction, misery, had been caused by a lighting-bolt scar.

Ginny stood in front of the stone monuments. She hadnt been able to go back there for years. Her brother... her sister- in-law... Harry.... She collapsed and began to sob, wailing in a way she hadnt since they all d. There were other stone coffins here, but none so carefully decorated.
Why the hell didnt Harry let her go? He knew how she felt about all of this. "You... you were the most stubborn man I ever knew," she whipered. "Who you to decide what I'd do with my life!? You just walked away! WHO WOULD WALK AWAY FROM WHO THEY LOVE!?" she screamed at the center tomb, both more satisfied for saying it and guilty at the same time.
For the rest of her time there, she said nothing, only watching the stone coffins with a mixture of emotions she could never quite sort out throughout her life.
A footstep echoed behind her. "Who's there?" she yelled, wand out. A man in his late fifties walked over to Ginny, with grey hair, and ever pale skin. Black robed and in a snake leather cloak, was Draco Malfoy. "I figured you be here." Ginny didnt lower her wand. "I saw you fight Harry. If it wasnt for you, hed still be here... with me...." her eyes were red but she didnt dare cry in front of this mon-
"I found it...." he said. Slowly, Draco extended his arm and opened his hand. There inside, was Voldemort's wand, snapped in two, with a phoenix feather clearly burned up inside. "The last horcrux is gone. Voldemort's . For good." Ginny stared at it with a stone face. No one ever could find the last Horcrux, and after the Daily Prophet printed its existence, everyone was afraid he would return again. Then who would be around to stop him this time? But now, in the flash of a second she saw Voldemort was truly .
Draco said little else after he shifted to the coffin and swung his wand over it. The coffin's top opened, and in it was a Harry Potter who under its magic was still the fresh 19 year old man when he d. Draco placed the wand pieces in next Harry's own wand, and resealed the coffin, but not before Ginny could catch one more time a glimpse of Harry's scar.

Ron stood, his hand on his sons shoulder. "Have a good term, Harry." Hermione bent down to kiss him, a single tear in her eye.
"Promise me you'll send us an owl as soon as you get there, OK?"
Harry nodded, his eyes shining with excitement under his flaming Weasley hair. He kissed Hermione and hugged Ron then sprinted over to the train and scrambled aboard. Ron put his arms around Hermione as the train began moving, steam billowing out of it as it always had.
Hermione looked around at Ron who appeared to be lost in thought. She didn't need to ask what he was thinking about. They were both lost in memories of their first ride on the Hogwarts Express. As the train begin to pick up speed he spotted his son in a compartment at the back of the train. A tear ran down his cheek- he could almost see himself in that same spot so many years ago, asking little Harry Potter if he could see his scar.
