Hermione was doing something boring at the time as usual so I, J.K. "I'm rich, I got all the moneyz" Rowling, not go into great deal about that. 'Thank you,' I hear you say.
At that moment, Ron knocked a cupboard with his elbow and an anvil fell and cracked Harry's skull wide open. "For pete's sake Ron! Now I'm gonna have another darn scar!' Posted by Andy on June 22, 2007 1:42 PM
Harry wheeled around to face Voldemort. Hatred pounded in Harry's ears, and he forced himself to look into the cold, red eyes of the enemy the wizarding world had always feared.
Voldemort turned around to tighten the ropes binding Ron and Hermione to the Quidditch post. They were unconscious. Harry scanned the ground frantically, looking for the final Horcrux, the downfall of the mighty Lord Voldemort, Nagini. Harry lifted his wand at the same time as Voldemort, and both cried, "Avada Kedavra!"

Harry laughed as Ronnie and Jimmy ran in the yard to greet their best friends, Arthur and his little sister Morgan. Their red hair was shining in the sun. Ginny, exhausted, leaned on him. "I am telling you, they are worse than Fred and George at the same age!"
Harry could see Ron and Hermione, who had walked from the portkey, arriving finally at the house, following their children. He waved at them. "Sometimes, I wonder if defeating Voldemort was not easier than raising 7 children..." he told Ginny, grinning. She smiled back. "Well, when Ronnie, Jimmy and baby Lily be going to Hogwarts with Albie, Sirius, Remus and Sevy, maybe we have some time of our own to make comparisons..." With her finger, she traced the shape of the scar that was now just a shadow on the forehead of her husband.
"Sometimes, I think you miss it" said Harry. Ginny just laughed. "I felt less special when it started vanishing", admitted Harry. "It was so weird to see it heal and disappear after the of Voldemort - because it was no longer cursed". "well, that was the second part of your life that was starting," said Ginny. "The part with just the memory of the scar." Posted by Cecil from Tacoma WA on June 23, 2007 12:02 AM
It was finally over. As Harry had triumphed over Voldemort, his magical core had exploded and left him devoid of magic and his memory. The wizarding worlds saviour now lay a broken shell in St Mungos, left alone to wonder how on earth he had got that scar. Posted by Hannah from Oxford, England on June 23, 2007 03:28 AM
There right before him, Harry saw the pair of haunting eyes: red, . It was almost at once that he realised he had accomplished the task that thousands of wizards had failed to - the destruction of the dark lord Voldemort. Yet many sacrificed, including the dragon with a silver beard before him - Albus Dumbledore. Weeping in the graveyard of great wizards and witches, Harry approached the huge lake on the far end of the dark forest, looked down - his scar... The battle in the department of misteries was about to end.Harry had Lord Voldamort paralized just feet from him. Harry began to say the most terrible spell "Avada Kadavra". Voldemort screamed. Then it was quiet, but not for long. Harry let out a high pitched scream. It was pain beyond pain. Harry was kneeling on the floor screaming. Harry soon pasted out. It was all over. The pain. The torture. The friendship. Harry was gone, and so was his destroyer, Ron. Harry never realized Ron had been possessed. There was so many memories of them together. Ron and Hermione were seated next to each other on. Mr and Mrs Weasley next to them. The remaining Order of the Phoenix members were also seated around the table. On Mr Weasleys signal they raised their glasses and said together "To Ginny Weasley, brave loyal and honest a true loss to the Weasley family!" They repeated the same for Fred and George. Then they raised their wine glasses to toast the late Lupin. "To a man who faced life at it's worst never allowing his strength to waver, I honour Remus Lupin, a good friend and an honourable man" said Mr Weasley.
Finally it was time to toast Harry. Ron felt an awful pain in his stomach as he remembered how Harry had valiantly stepped over and thrown himself into the veil. To destroy the last piece of Voldemort's sole that was encased in his body. He had truly demonstrated the power the Dark Lord knew not. To sacrfice himself out of the love of wizarding. To allow himself to be destroyed so his friends and other wizards could have a better tomorrow. The power to sacrifice for the love of others, truly a power which the Dark Lord could not understand and that had resulted in his . Arthur Weasley turned around to face Ron. "Maybe Ron should" he mumbled. Ron nodded lookig white faced and determined. Silent tears were streaming down Hermione's face. Mrs Weasley's face seemed expressionless. Her grief was too great to be expressed. Ron began to speak softly and determindedly.
"Harry was a person who cannot be easily described. When I first met him I was surprised how humble he was despite his fame. He was strong and caring. In many ways he has touched our lives very closely. He was the best friend a person could have." He raised his glass. "To Harry Potter, the boy who lived with just a scar."
