Final Deathly Hallows Debates: Who Lives and Who Dies?

 We know for sure that some characters are going to die in Deathly Hallows. Last year in an interview, J.K. Rowling said that two characters die who she had not originally thought would die in the end of the story. That means at least two characters die, but probably more. And that's probably not counting Harry and/or Voldemort. So who lives and who dies? I definitely think one of the trio . Hagrid won't survive either, because almost all 'parent-like' persons have d already (James, Sirius, Dumbledore..). Hagrid and maybe a member of the Weasley family (Molly?) are left.. Snape.. I think he'll .. But I still don't know whether he is good or evil... And of course Voldemort . You can't write seven books, closer and closer to that moment, without letting it happen.

i think that voldemort harry but that isn't necessarily a bad thing because when it say about there being a glimmer of happiness (or something like that, not too sure) when dumbledore hears that voldemort used harrys blood to rebirth, i think this means that because harrys blood runs through voldemorts veins if harry s voldemort has to

I can't see Lupin , though many people say he . It would just be too hard on poor Tonks. At the beginning of HBP, Tonks is already miserable because she is convinced she ed Sirius. No, no, no, even if it is obvious, Harry and Ginny ARE A DONE DEAL! THEY WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER! Same goes for Hermione and Ron, so I think, because of this, either Ginny and Harry both , or live, Ron and Hermione both , or both live. Harry probably isn't a Horcrux, because of all the discussion about the two souls in one body, etc. However, the scar could (and very well might) be. If "the one the Dark Lord marked as his equal" cannot live while the Dark Lord himself does, WHY? WHY is that part of the prophecy? If the actual marking seems to be so significant (see the whole "Neville" argument, then perhaps LV took that to mean, leaving a mark that would be able to be used later....? I don't know, I'm not an expert... but neither, really, is anyone here. We all have our theories, and all the debates be settled next weekend.
As far as who s? I think: --Hagrid --someone from the Order --a Weasley, but I don't know who is the most likely candidate. --A Malfoy, but probably not Draco. That'd be too easy. --Umbridge (that would be nice)
There's going to be a bit of self-sacrificing in this book; who exactly do the sacrificing, I just don't know. I really think, though, that Hagrid's the number 1 candidate to get ed. Posted by Ashly from Memphis TN on July 11, 2007 10:20 AM

Okay -- here's my thoughts. I don' think that Harry because he was, but no longer is, the seventh horcrux. In the first (or maybe the second?) book, Dumbledore says that Voldemort transferred a bit of himself into Harry -- which I believe turned Harry into a Horcrux. Voldemort Harry would have to BEFORE himself in order to all the horcruxes. But when they raised Voldemort in the graveyard at the end of the fourth book, I think he nixed out the horcrux thing by putting Harry's blood into the cauldron, resulting in the "look of triumph" on Dumbledore's face when he heard that part of the story.
s: Hagrid, but not Grawp. Firenz the centaur Trelawny Snape -- for sure. I don't want to say it, but possibly McGonagal Dobby
See, I think the fountain in the Ministry for Magic have to form for them to take down Voldemort -- a wizard (Harry), a witch (McGonagal, Ginny, or Hermione), a house elf (Dobby or Kreature -- tho probably Dobby), and a Centaur (Firenze).

i think that having the trio survive is just to happy. you need some tragedy. here are the people i think .
1.Ron trying to help Harry get the horcruxes 2.ginny trying to save harry 3.kingsley shacklebolt trying to fight one of the eaters. 4.fred or gorge 5.lupin trying to help save harry. 6.tonks . jkr not have tonks survive because she has gone through way to much pain already with Sirius and because lupin won't be with her. i really hope that the twins won't but i think one of them . Harry can not be a Horcrux.
Why would Voldemont want to destroy a Horcrux? Isn't the whole point of the Horcruxes so he can live forever? By ing Harry, he is effectively destroying the Horcrux.
