Final Deathly Hallows Debates: Who Lives and Who Dies?

We know for sure that some characters are going to die in Deathly Hallows. Last year in an interview, J.K. Rowling said that two characters die who she had not originally thought would die in the end of the story. That means at least two characters die, but probably more. And that's probably not counting Harry and/or Voldemort. So who lives and who dies? Tell us who you think will die, and more importantly, why you think so.

I'm pretty sure that Petegrew or Petunia as Voldemort have to her before he gets to Harry as she has the power to protect Harry. And as for Peter he still owes Harry one.

I think slughorn and percy because JK said that the two who were not supposed to in the end. So they have to be unlikely characters. Potter, Weasley and Granger have been on the line much too long to be those two 'unlikely' characters and voldy certainly has to . Even Hagrid being a member of the OotP isnt all that unlikely to be ed along with the other members. It can even be the Weasley twins though the chances are 1 out of 10.

I agree with Hermione from Cupertino as Voldemort has no idea of what love is and the strenght of it. He hasn't got love from anyone. Not his mother, father, grandperents or the Gaunts.

As far as I am concerned, either Harry must or Harry must Voldemort. In OotP he asked Dumbledore if it was neccessary to dea diretly with Lord in order to or be ed. Professors's answer was yes. So, I guess it be Lord who s- The Good Force should win so as to make The Book valuable, worth reading and admiring.

Secondly, I believe the other d would be Wormtail (justice must be) and Malfoy (for the same reason and moreover because of the task he failed to do).

I strongly believe, neither Ron nor Hermione , because readers should have the oppotunity to create their own visions connected with them for years. That would be impossible with Ron and Hermione.

Think Harry survive, but not intact. My guess is that he loose all of his magical powers in the final act of defeating Voldemort.

I think Mrs Weasley is going to because its been hinted a little bit in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. If anyone remembers when everyone came to dinner at Grimmauld Place, Mrs Weasley asks Mad-Eye Moody to have a look in the drawing room and tell her whats in the writing desk as she thinks its a Boggart but they didn't want to open it just in case there was something nasty inside. Mad-Eye confirms its a Boggart (this was on page 154) and then on page 157 we see Mrs Weasley say "Well, I think I'll sort that Boggart before I turn in..." then on page 159 Harry decides to go upstairs and hears someone sobbing. He realises it is Mrs Weasley in the drawing-room and sees that Ron was lying on the floor , yet he realised this could not be true as Ron was downstairs. We then see the Boggart turn into all of her children (), then her husband and then Harry. Lupin soon comes upstairs and gets rid of the Boggart while Mrs Weasley has a bit of a breakdown confessing she sees her children all the time and then she says 'I'm just s - s - so worried,' she said, tears spilling out of her eyes again. 'Half the f - f - family's in the Order it'll be a miracle is we all come through this...' etc etc. She then comes to say 'And what's going to happen if Arthur and I get ed, who's g - g - going to look after Ron and Ginny?'
In which Lupin replies a while later 'And as for who's going to look after Ron and Ginny if you and Arthur ,' said Lupin smiling slightly, 'what do you think we'd do, let them starve?'
I think this is a bit of a hint that there's a chance that Mrs Weasley might , and also the fact she is the only thing left that is like a parental figure to Harry.

I forgot to add i think Dobby as well. Because he and Kreacher are still following Malfoy aren't they and i don't think we are going to see Dobby until like the show down and Voldemort is going to be on the verge of ing Harry as Harry is disarmed and everyone else is to be busy fighting the eaters etc. and just as Voldemort says "Avada Kedavra" Dobby shall appear and be like "YOU SHALL NOT HARM HARRY POTTER!" like he normally does bless him, and he either get hit by the spell by jumping in front of Harry or using his Elf magic he might be able to make a shield just long enough so that Harry can get back on his feet retrieve his wand and be ready to carry on the fight with Voldemort.
I hope Dobby doesn't , hes like the best house elf ever.

this is too depresing, thinking about who , , but i remind you of a few people who owe harry:

I think that Harry probaly because i think voldemort put part of him in to his scar so to voldemort Harry has to .

I think that Voldemort imparted a piece of his soul in harry when voldemort tried to him. And the reason Dumbledore has a gleam of thriumph in is eyes when he hears that Voldemort used Harry's blood to revive himself is because Voldemort now has gotten his soul back and that Harry no longer is a horcrux and doesn't needs to sacrifice himself so voldemort can be ed.

I keep wondering about the significance of the pure silver hand that Voldemort gives to Wormtail to replace the one he cut off...It can't be a coincidence that it is 'pure' silver...and the connection between silver and werewolves, makes me think Pettigrew might Lupin.

Neville live. He Bellatrix and later end up teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.
Snape also live, but he be a major player in the final battle with V. He continue teaching Potions and continue being the teacher we hated. He never loved Lily but might have loved Narcissa because of her beauty and being a pure blood.
Molly Weasley . Percy return to the family.
Ron, Hermione and Ginny all live. Fred and George live. They are just to bright and everyone loves them.
Dobby may while helping Harry get the real locket from Grimmauld Place. Maybe Bellatrix do him in.
All the Durleys live. However Dudley be the one to do magic. Payback is a bitch, Petunia have grandchildrens who are wizards and witches.
