Final Deathly Hallows Debates: Unanswered Septology Questions

Like Hogwarts Castle itself, the Harry Potter books hold many mysteries, and have many hidden secrets. Hopefully, most of these mysteries will be answered in the final book. Is something funny going on at St. Mungos? What ever happened to Sirius' two-way mirrors? Where is Fawkes? There are so many others. What mystery are you most looking forward to being answered, and how do you think it will come out?

Tom Riddle's diary was special because he could talk back through it... that was because it was a horcrux.
The Marauder's Map did the same when Snape tried to make it reveal itself. Im least inclined to believe that the foursome were evil. no. but they were kids...

-What did Dumbledore see when he drank the potion?
-Petunia showed us she knows a bit about the Magical world in the 5th or the 6th book, she say more about it in the 7th book? maybe she'll help Harry somehow Voldemort?
-Is snape good or bad?
-Is Dumbledore alive?
-About what Dumbledore and Snape discussed in the forest at HBP
-assuming Dumbledore d, and planned his , did he had Sirius's mirrior the night he d? Would Harry be able to talk with his parents, Dumbledore and Sirius in the 7th book?
-Could Harry talk with Dumbledore's portrait in the headmasters office? Would Dumbledore stay the same person? (Could he actully help Harry with his mission after he d?)

To India, I don't think prori incantatem take place because Olivander was kidnapped and probobally is making Voldemort a new wand. Also i wonder if Dumbledore be able to communicate to Harry through his picture in the headmaster's office?
Did Dumbledore have kids?
Will fawkes go to Harry?

I think that snape turn good.. and wormtail repay his dept to harry..

There is definitely something spooky about Dumbledores , doesnt quite work out.

Also.. I heard this theory the other day. The locket was REAL, but Dumbledore put the note there, and ginny is still under some control from voldemort from CoS, though I think it makes no sense as I belive the real locket is at grimwald place, and R.A.B is Regulus.

clair from north west england is a genius. the mirror of erised would be the easiest way for harry to get the horcruxes just like he did the ps/ss. can't believe i didn't think of that myself. would harry think of using the mirror though? i think it more likely that hermione suggest it. also where could the mirror be? gringotts perhaps (UK Childrens Cover)

As said so many times before, only some wizards become ghosts because they are afraid of and dont want to pass on-so they stay as ghosts. Also, Dumbledore not become a ghost as he is not afraid of and accepts it. And i cant believe i never noticed Erised is Desire backwards (ironic)

Don't you think that the "bond" Harry has with Wormtail may stop something important from happening in the 7th book?
It is said that bonds and promises in the wizarding world keep you from doing certain things, if only once.

So, if Harry saved Wormtail, don't you suppose that Wormtail, as unlikely and helpful as he may be, return the favor?

There are two mysteries that I would really like explained. Is Aunt Petunia a squib? Perhaps that is why she was so bitter about her sister Lily. The mystery I really want answered--where are James' parents? Was he an orphan? Maybe I missed it, but I don't think James' family has ever been mentioned.

Thanks so much for this Web site. It has really enhanced my enjoyment of the books.

I just wanted to make a comment to Natale with regard to the memories Dumbledore takes from vials. At least one of the memories that he adds to his pensieve from a vial was his own. That is why many people, including me, wondered if Dumbledore had switched places with someone using polyjuice potion. It was one of many theories that surfaced just after HBP came out.

About why Dumbledore trusted Snape so much even after Snape had delivered the (fragment of) the prophecy he overheard...did Dumbledore force Snape at the moment to make an Unbreakable Vow to serve him and the Order?

Also we see more giants come into the story?

I personally want to know everything about Snape. I know there is no way for him to be bad, because the impostor Moody saw Snape in his foe glass, making him an enemy of the eaters.

Just because Harry saved wormtail's life doesn't mean wormtail owes Harry his life right? He just has to save Harry's, not give up his own in the process.

I also want to know more about unbreakable vows. What if you make two conflicting vows, would that ensure your , or would the first one take priority? Who decides when an unbreakable vow is fulfilled, can you get out of an unbreakable vow if the person you made it to is satisfied?
