Final Deathly Hallows Debates: Unanswered Septology Questions

 Like Hogwarts Castle itself, the Harry Potter books hold many mysteries, and have many hidden secrets. Hopefully, most of these mysteries will be answered in the final book. Is something funny going on at St. Mungos? What ever happened to Sirius' two-way mirrors? Where is Fawkes? There are so many others. He used the opportunity to secretly smuggle something in. Perhaps part of a spell or a potion. Throughout the books, potion-making play's a big role. I think that's why Dumbledore had a triumphant gleam in his eyes. Thing is, if it's true, we'll have a new perspective on him. He hasn't told Harry everything he knew. while rereading ootp something really important caught my eye.i was just wondering does the "fountain of magical brethren" signify that witches, wizards, centaurs, goblins and elfs are going to fight together in the final battle against voldemort? The main things that I'm wondering, take place in the Department of Mysteries. 1. Will Harry ever talk to Sirius again? How? Where? Will he Be able to talk to him through the 2 way mirrors or the veil? 2. Also, what is the significance of the door that Harry cannot unlock with his knife from Siruis? Is there a Horcrux behind it? Or a force that can be used against the Horcruxes? 3. Do the other 2 smashed prophecies have any importance?
other questions... 1. How the "phoenix rising joyfully out of the blue" take part in the last book? (even if dumbledore is ?) 2. What did Dudley see when the dementor attacked him? 3. What did Dumbledore experience when he drank the green potion in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price? 3. What become of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? 4. Will Felix Felecis come into play in the 7th book? 5. When Dumbledore said, "I only ever truely leave this school when none here are loyal to me" did he mean it literally? 6. Does Dumbledore have a Horcrux? (after all, he did the dark Wizard Grindelward...)
my suspitions... 1. I agree with Krissy that Kreacher accompanied Regulus to the cave. But, I think he was under the Imperius curse when he did. 2. I think that Lupin and Tonks end up together. 3. I highly doubt (if Dumbledore IS ) that he come back as a ghost. He always said that " is but the next great adventure" and also tthat "the unknown is the only thing to fear about ".

To HE_IS_NOT_DEAD_SIRIUS: Dumbledore was very weak because of the potion he had to drink in the cave. Also, he was almost in the floor, his back resting in the wall (wow, the AK of Snape blasted Dumbledore's body and made him fly into the air from that uncomfortable position! Instead of simply falling down, he flew up and finally dropped down the tower, it really seems like an expelliarmus or a desmaius) What the hell happens to Umbridge? well, theres the question of whether snape is good or bad, and whether or not dumbledore is actually . i am also wondering if draco malfoy come over to the order of the phoenix. i wonder where the last horcruxes are, and of course, the biggest mystery of all...

I too have been thinking about Tom being a twin, maybe Voldemort's father, or was Voldy's grandfather also a Tom?
Another thought - In the first book when Harry looks in the mirror of Erised he saw 10 people, his family, meaning parents, grandparents, (that makes 6 unless of divorces and remarriages), who would be the other 4. He didn't recognize any as people he knew (so Dumbledore wasn't an ancestor) though he figured out his parents by similar appearances. Posted by ginny from utah on July 12, 2007 1:30 PM
Kim from Randers, about the chcolate frog cards, i had the exact same idea a few days ago! I mean, they have already helped Harry out once, and it was made pretty clear Dumbledore left all the clues out for him to find. What else is he trying to tell us through that card? It says at the end of the 6th book that as the fire went around dumbledore's body, harry might have seen the shape of a pheonix, in book 5, Firenze says that sometimes centaurs can see the future by seeing shapes in the fire. Could harry be a seer? Posted by Oscar from IL on July 12, 2007 2:09 PM

I think that your theory is a good idea,though. I wonder if Hagrid be allowed to continue his magical education, since he has been revealed as innocent of opening the Chamber of Secrets.
