The Sport of Warlocks now available on the iPhone!
[Posted by Dave Haber on Monday, 05/04/09 1:28 pm] [Full Blog]Harry Potter fans can now play Quidditch on the iPhone! Mendoza Technologies in McAllen, Texas, has announced their new Quidditch game, the first for iPhone and iTouch devices.
In the game, you can chose your favorite team from the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry. You must capture the quaffle, and pass through the large rings to score 10 points. Tilt your iPhone/iTouch left, right, up, or down to control your character flying.
While trying to score, you must avoid bumping into the other player, if you are lower than them, then you will lose the quaffle and fall to the ground. The same thing happens if you bump in to any of the two bludgers.
If you capture the snitch which travels very fast, you unlock magical spells that you can use to your advantage in the game, including stupefy, expecto patronus, and impervius.
But, beware of the dementors!
