The Complete Cracker to be released on DVD this Tuesday
[Posted by Dave Haber on Saturday, 03/07/09 10:37 am] [Comments] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]The critically acclaimed BBC crime drama, Cracker, starring Scottish actor-comedian Robbie Coltrane (better-known as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies) as Eddie "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a heavy-drinking, chain-smoking forensic psychologist, will be available in a new complete set on DVD this Tuesday, March 10.
The new box set includes all 23 original episodes (11 story arcs, told in two- and three-part shows), plus the two subsequent TV movies, produced in 1996 and 2006. Also included is a 45-minute documentary about the series created to promote the 2006 TV film.
Cracker has won more than 25 major awards, including BAFTAs for best drama series and best actor for Robbie Coltrane.
